Q: I'd like to get into the hillclimb/autocross scene. I was wondering what specs must a vehicle meet to be allowed to participate. In otherwords, must they have a roll cage?
A: Hello and welcome. The short answer to your question is yes you must at least have a roll bar. Along with a list of other saftey items. All of which you can review in the Time Trial GCR. You can read it or download it from www.scca.com.
After looking at the GCR I would recomend coming out to either Pagoda or Duryea Hillclimbs and look at the cars and ask questions. Let us know you are interested in driving and we will be glad to help you out.
